SignTorch Vector Inspector
Just drag the zoom slider up and down to affect magnification. Then click and drag on the image to pan (scroll) around.
SignTorch vectors are very smooth with no sharp cusp nodes for best performance
during and after cutting. All paths are closed and continuous, not broken and disconnected, no intersections,
and holes are correctly nested and non-overlapping.
Sub-shapes are sorted from the inside out by proximity. Exterior cuts run clockwise. Interior cuts run counter-clockwise. Same as climb-milling. Optimal for plasma cutting.
SignTorch DXF Inspector
SignTorch DXF files contain all closed polylines (and no splines). Polylines are continuous (not a bunch of little pieces), compatible with all CAD CAM DXF software.
As of 2011, we now publish 2 DXF styles, one with and one without arcs, and we publish two versions of files with thin interior strokes, one with normal closed paths and one with open single-stroke interior paths replacing thin closed paths.
That enables jet cutters (plasma, laser, waterjet) to cut the design as small as possible.
